 Cost Management   Project Budget Control

The H.Troon team have developed a skill set that allows us to provide value across all aspects of a project. Cost management is a key element to our construction service.

Most recently the new Equine Centre Ballarat delivered for the University of Ballarat and the BER projects were examples of where we were able to assist the client achieve high standard outcomes for a whole of life result of the development, whilst maintaining government established budgets.

In brief, these listed strategies are several techniques and management methods we use to control and manage project costs:

  • We actively foster team environments to create a collaborative approach to problem solving.

  • We pro-actively identify and manage risks.

  • We provide innovative and effective solutions and alternatives. We respect that budgets are set and must be maintained, in particular when government funding is available.

  • We listen to our clients and consultants to gain a clear understanding of their needs.

  • We will at all-times identify any cost issues at the earliest opportunity to allow the team to best manage the result.

Over the past seven years H.Troon have completed on average 40% (estimate value $40 Million) of its annual turnover on design and construct contracts. This experience has allowed us to gain valuable knowledge in the field of value engineering and cost control at a micro level.

We assure you, that our focus on costs will offer your team an up to date and comprehensive analysis of the ongoing costs and budgets for the design and construction phase.
